Hey guys, as the thread says, im looking for a coach for pvp.
Traditionally in MMORPG games its the pvp that really gets me hooked.
In vanilla wow i did the grand marshall grind between semesters, and then when i went back to the game later on i did arenas up to a fairly consistent 2700 rating.
In SwTor likewise i went right into the pvp, to the point that i was one of the oddballs that actually enjoyed huttball.
What im looking for is someone to run some matches with, to duel against if possible, and maybe even run some pve missions.
Have them look at my playstyle and strategies going into a fight and see what sort of changes can be made.
A lot of the guides out there hold your and and say "do it this way" thats not what im looking for.
Im still new to the game, a lot of the abbreviations out there are really not noob friendly. And many of the guides dont completely explain why things are done in a certain way. Some statistics as well have me at a loss as to what they modify.
Im currently level 40 or 41, cant remember what i was at last night when i logged off
I have both a mirror advanced escort, and a mirror fleet escort at my disposal to use. Currently only the fleet escort is equipped with anything.
Im running with tetryon weapons and a photon launcher in the front. Ive played around with phasers and disruptors already and wanted to give a different energy weapon type a go before i made a solid decision.
I tend to play from about 9pm central time untill about 11pm
I would prefer to use TS3 rather than in game chat for the purposes of the coaching, it makes it easier to pick your brains for information.
If anyone is interested in helping me out, and doesnt mind an overly large amount of questions being sent their way please let me know.
I dont check the forums when Im not at work, so just shoot me an in game mail, or pm me when I log on tonight around 9.
