The MRI went swimmingly! For those who don't know, I was shot in the neck a couple of years ago in a robbery attempt (no, I wasn't the perp). I nearly died from the blood loss. I just got a call from the surgeon who said the reason I cant talk isn't because my larynx is damaged but some surrounding scar tissue is kind of muffling or padding the larynx so I can't get them to vibrate to talk. Surgery is scheduled for June 3rd at 7:00 AM. Never spent the night in a hospital before. Should be fun.

A little loopy and my neck hurts a bit. Nothing serious, though. It went well. I have a follow up in a week and hopefully by then I can start retraining my voice.
Hey, they used a laser on me!
