As a requisite for advancement in the fleet, one must have and use teamspeak. What if a member is unable to speak? I lost my larynx after being shot in the neck in a store robbery 4 years ago.

You do not make ANYONE speak on teamspeak, but we ask that you at least join us so you can hear meetings, and we can plan STF accordingly. But at no time are you required to talk to get a promotion.

See now, I didn't even consider having it to hear others chat and call out strategy.
Exalt!

Thanks!
I got word yesterday that my doc wants me to come in for an MRI to see how much scar tissue is there. He's thinking some can be removed so I can get my voice back in some small way.

I agree with zander. good luck. as others have commented, I personally have limited availability to the team speak as I can not disturb woman with my game play or I will get my feathers plucked. quack quack. I do get on team speak when I can and life is not hectic. it by no means prevent you from enjoying and playing with the fleet. it does help with coordination with events and stf's
