Howdy folks, Zander here with a State of the Fleet for our members. First off I would like to say thank you to all of our members for making Revelation Gaming the great place that it is.
1. Fleet Starbase and Embassy
With the luanch of Season 8 quickly approaching it is going to become paramount that we increase productivity with our fleet starbase. We should make it our goal to be at least tier 4 in everything by May 1st. I know this may seem like a duanting goal but I know we can get it done.
2. Recruiting
While STO is currently inbetween seasons player activity is low. However this does not mean we shouldnt be recruiting. Now is the time to recruit long term players into the fleet that are going to work hard towards overall fleet progression. You see someone in a STF or PvP that doesnt have a fleet but performs well, send them a whisper and pitch them Revelation Fleet. This is also the goal for after the luanch of season 8, to expand our roster to 300+ members. This is why is is so important that we get out fleet starbase to tier 4 before the luanch of season 8. I am already seeing people in zone chat that are looking for the fleets that are already tier 4 or 5. Those are players that we should be able to recruit as well.
3. The Imperium Alliance
Last night (Feb. 13) a vote was taken about if we should or should not join a multi fleet, multi gaming alliance called the Imperium Alliance. The results of the vote was that Revelation Fleet will be appling for membership in the alliance. A few things to know about the alliance....
A: The Imperium Alliance uses Team Speaker as its primary communication device. We will have our own area in thier Team Speak and we will use thier team speak as our fleets primary communication device. Plese note, that you do not have to get on the team speak server but it is highly recommended.
B: Once Revelation Gaming joins the alliance all of our members are locked into our fleets.guilds. AT NO time can you quit our fleets/guilds and join another fleet/guild that is also a member of the alliance. This goes against the Imperium Alliances charter.
